Home and the House, one environment.
A young child does not divide life into school and home. Consistency between the two is part of the method itself, and the partnership between the House and its families is built to provide it: daily, transparently, and in both directions.
The day, shared.
Photos, updates, and classroom observations help parents feel connected to their child's day. This transparent home and school bridge supports shared understanding and builds trust. The daily parent communication app carries the mentor's observations home, so that the conversation at the dinner table can begin with what actually happened rather than with a question the child cannot yet answer.

School tours are offered both virtually and in person, and every admission includes one. The virtual tour shows the prepared environments as they are; the visit in person shows them in use. Families are welcome to return.

Gently, and together.
The youngest children begin in NIDO with a parent beside them, so that the first experience of a community outside the home is taken from the security of a familiar hand. Older children are welcomed into their environment gradually, with the mentor and the family agreeing the pace.

The method, carried home.
From simple choices to meaningful self-care tasks, children build confidence, discipline, and ownership of their actions. These early experiences lay the foundation for independence that lasts a lifetime. Four habits carry the House's approach home.
Slow down
Give the child time to do for themselves what an adult could do faster: buttons, shoes, pouring, carrying. The House works this way all morning; it takes root when home does too.
Prepare the home
A low hook for the coat, a small jug in the fridge, a step at the basin, so that the child can reach what the child needs.
Grace and courtesy
Greet, wait, offer help, say what you mean quietly. The child absorbs the manner of the adults far more than their instructions.
Real work
Invite the child into the real work of the house: laying the table, watering plants, sorting laundry. Purposeful work is what the child is asking for.
